Where it goes

Four of the best parks in the country are a drive away.

Rexburg sits in the middle of it. Yellowstone and Grand Teton are close enough for a long weekend. Glacier and Zion make a great week. String them together and you’ve got the trip people talk about for years.

Yellowstone

Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic and bison on the road. Come in through West Yellowstone and you're inside the park before most people finish breakfast.

Trip idea: 4 nights. Two at Madison or West Yellowstone, two at Canyon. Hit the geyser basins early, Lamar Valley at dusk.

Grand Teton

The skyline everybody pictures when you say "the mountains." Jenny Lake, Phelps Lake, Mormon Row at sunrise and moose along the Gros Ventre.

Trip idea: 3 nights at Gros Ventre or Colter Bay, then roll north into Yellowstone without packing up a thing.

Glacier

Turquoise lakes, Avalanche Lake, Trail of the Cedars and some of the best hiking in the West.

Trip idea: 7 nights. Camp on the west side near Apgar, then drive Going-to-the-Sun Road in a car or shuttle. Vehicles over 21 feet aren't allowed on the middle section.

Zion

Red rock canyon walls, the Narrows and Angels Landing. A great spring or fall trip when Yellowstone is still snowed in.

Trip idea: 6 nights. Stop in St. George on the way, camp at Watchman or in Springdale and ride the park shuttle.

Going farther

Take it cross country.

A month on the road costs less than you'd think. You get 15% off monthly rentals and 10% off weekly. 200 miles a day are included, so a 14-night trip comes with 2,800 free miles.

First time renting an RV and it was great. My wife and four kids fit comfortably, it was fully stocked, and the two slides made it roomy. Katie was a great host and the technical guide helped a lot.

Your hosts

Katie and Eric, and seven kids who've tested every bunk.

We live in Rexburg and we love being outside. With seven kids, a tent only gets you so far. The RV opened up where we could go as a family, and now we share it.

You’ll deal with us directly. We answer the phone, we walk you through everything at pickup and we stay reachable for the whole trip. If something comes up on the road, call. We’ll figure it out with you.

FAQ

Questions people ask before booking.

Send your dates below. We check them against our calendar and reply within a day with a quote for your trip. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

No. A regular driver’s license is all you need. The RV has an automatic transmission, a backup camera and cameras on both turn signals. Most renters say it drives easier than they expected.

Not at all. Lots of our renters are first-timers. At pickup we walk through driving, leveling, the generator, water, tanks and hookups, and you leave with our printed guide.

In Rexburg, Idaho. We send the exact address with your booking. We can also deliver within 50 miles for $5 a mile ($100 minimum), which is handy for campgrounds like Island Park or Yellowstone Lakeside RV Park.

Miles are added up across your whole trip, so a 7-night trip includes 1,400 miles. Anything past that is $0.50 a mile, settled after you return.

Food, toiletries, clothes and anything for fun. Bedding, towels, dishes, cookware and cleaning supplies are already on board.

Sorry, no pets. No smoking either.

Not the middle section. The park limits vehicles there to 21 feet long. Camp near Apgar or St. Mary and use the free shuttle or a car for the drive. It’s worth it.

Flexible. The exact terms come with your quote.
